Experience not what I imagined due to the lack of awareness that a wedding was being hosted the day of our departure and
5.0Lovely property old and quaint
− Bedroom position was noisy. Fronted the car park at ground floor level. Windows were closed too Mattress. Hard as nails. Wedding was booked the morning of our departure. Couldn’t even get a coffee … nor take photos in the garden but happy to a) take our full payment. Why don’t hoteliers contact those guests already booked in and let them know there is a wedding on that will reduce the hotels facilities or provide a discount and give the choice to the customer as to whether they continue with their booking or find somewhere else. We too have paid for an experience and didn’t get it I’m afraid.

9.0Breakfasts were very good with a large range of cold and hot food. Staff were very friendly and helpful and they undoubtedly make this hotel a very pleasant place to stay.
− We can't think of anything other than that a small fridge in the room would have been very useful for keeping drinks cool, as it was very hot during our stay.

As a popular venue for weddings, Holdsworth House Hotel has a policy of only 1 wedding party per night.
When a wedding is taking place at the hotel, no other brides/grooms or guests from weddings taking place elsewhere are permitted to stay or use the facilities within the same 24-hour period.
