Greed over hospitality
2.0The size of the room. Room available early in the morning after the car broke down and we were stranded on the road until 4am.
− Extremely dirty, broken items. Person checking me in called me a liar for not mentioning I had two more children (a newborn and 2 year old). There were no options for extra beds anywhere on the app and the younger boys always sleep with me. We are a military family and always book 2 beds rooms. Instead of showing us hospitality and being empathetic to our situation with children, he was upset because he wanted to make more money off of the two othee boys. When I became upset and told him I would pay the extra, which I had the cash for, he said it was fine but not to do it again. The audacity of this man to speak to me in such a way because of his greed is appalling. I just retired from hospitality after 15 years and I would have never spoken to a guest on that way who obviously had an emergency. Only 3 cars in the entire parking lot and yet instead of being grateful to sell the room, his greed was greater than his hospitality. People like him should not be in the hospitality industry. May he never find himself in need of someone's help and be denied...

− Had to wait a good minute just for somebody at front desk to come from the back, the sheets were dirty and had cigarettes burns. I told the man thanks twice and he didn’t say anything, just looked as he had an attitude
