There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Irene. I arrived and checked in, and she was helpful with explaining the room and keys. Upon arriving back later that evening, I started to feel sick (I blame that on a woman who sat behind me during a 12-hour Lake Como bus excursion and blew her nose and coughed the entire time. So, yep, you guessed it, I became sick 72 hours later) The following morning, I reached out to Irene, asking if she could recommend a restaurant that could deliver to me. I explained my situation of being sick. Within 5 minutes, she had shown up at my door with a blanket and hot tea. Then later, she makes me homemade soup. Such a kind gesture and way above what I would have expected! By the end of the day, I was able to walk to a restaurant she mentioned serves soup and ordered that for takeaway. She continued to check on me and brought me tissues and hot water for more tea. While I did not get to experience much of Monterosso during my 2 night stay, I will always remember the kindness of Irene, the daughter of Stefania. Grazie mille!!!

− The ceiling fan squeaks a bit. Had I not been in my room the entire stay and sleeping restlessly, I doubt I would have noticed.

Wonderful location in a magical village

Clean comfortable. Unbelievable location. 250 meters from train station on level road. All facilities within really easy reach of facility.

− Needed small supply crockery and cutlery bowls for preparation of food inside apartment. We bought avocado (excellent) from next door shop but had to use teaspoon to cut open. That’s our only complaint and it is a small issue

Great location and nice space and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable

− It was a bit loud at night but I think most places in Monterosso are loud as it’s a very busy place. It was also extremely hot so we were a little bit uncomfortable sleeping in the heat. There is a fan but air-conditioning would be great!

Great location just steps from the beach and the main area. The host was amazing extremely accommodating and very helpful throughout our stay. We truly appreciated her hospitality and local recommendations. Highly recommend!
