An Wonderful Apartment Just a Short Drive from Lucerne

The apartment is located in a town about a 20-minute drive from the center of Lucerne. There is also a convenient combination of bus and train services that takes you to Lucerne's main railway station in approximately 30–35 minutes. Driving to the parking garage we chose (Parkhaus Altstadt) was very easy. The roads were in excellent condition, traffic was moderate, and driving within the city was straightforward. Esthi's apartment is brand new, modern, and fully equipped with everything a family needs for a comfortable stay of a few days near Lucerne. The maisonette features an open-plan kitchen and living area on the ground floor, along with a spacious corner sofa that can comfortably accommodate two adults for sleeping. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essential appliances, including a large refrigerator with freezer, an oven, a stovetop, a dishwasher, and a coffee machine. The bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor are both spacious and comfortable. The windows are fitted with electric blinds, and there is also a Google Home device available for guests' convenience and entertainment. There is a spacious private parking space directly outside the apartment. Esthi is an exceptionally kind and welcoming host. On our first day, she gave us detailed information not only about the apartment but also about the main attractions and places worth visiting in the surrounding area and in Lucerne. We highly recommend Esthi's apartment to anyone planning to spend a few days exploring Lucerne. If we visit the area again, we will definitely try to stay at this apartment.

− There was nothing particularly negative about our stay. If I had to mention one thing, it would be the lack of air conditioning, especially considering the unusually high temperatures during our visit to Switzerland. When we discussed this with Esthi, she explained that these weather conditions are highly unusual for the country and that air conditioning is generally not common in Swiss homes. We found this to be true, as another apartment we stayed in Spiez also did not have air conditioning. As a side note, Esthi told us that, because of climate change, if these kinds of temperatures become more frequent, she is planning to install air conditioning in the apartment in the near future.

Zeer schone en goed ingerichte accomodatie. De hostess was zeer vriendelijk en gaf goede tips over bezienswaardigheden. De keuken was goed ingericht en in de koelkast zaten diverse waren die we mochten gebruiken. Fijn dat we ook in de tuin mochten zitten.

− De verlichting om te lezen in bed en op de bank kan beter.

Sehr sauber, praktisch eingerichtet, es war alles da, was man brauchte. Keine unnötigen Dekos. Geräumig, genug Platz. Mit Liebe gestaltetes Willkommensschild. Sehr freundliche, unkomplizierte und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. ÖV-Verbindung in nächster Nähe. Ruhige Lage.
