Ameeza Houze Homestay - Siargao♡

This was my second stay at this homestay. First stay was great. Second stay was horrible.

− Booked my second stay at this homestay two month in advanced and paid in full. Was emailed the morning of my arrival date that they could no longer accommodate me due to maintenance emergency. I was sympathetic to their emergency and said I would work with them. They said they could accommodate me in 2 days. I arrived two days later at the agreed upon time to no one there to meet me. Messaged owner multiple times and was messaged back 2 hours later to be told the door is open and to check myself in. Once inside the suite it was gutted. There was no bedding, curtains or kitchen supplies. It took 2 days to get kitchen supplies, 3 days for curtains and 4 days for a blanket. Had daily issues including no water for 3 days in a row. Towards the end of my stay I woke up one morning in pain to find that my bed was infested with ants. I had to go to the medical clinic and pay $9000 PHP to be treated for bug bites. Owner asked to talk me in my suite. I agreed thinking it was to talk about the partial refund that we agreed upon. Once the owner was in my suite he started in with a sales pitch to invest $2.5 million PHP over three year with a 30% return on my investment for renovations. This was an obvious scam and was trying a money grab from their guests. Still have not received my refund and the owner is now ghosting me. Filed a complaint with Booking.com and they couldn't even reach an agreement with the owner on my refund and had to offer me a token of appreciation credit towards future bookings. Please be very careful when booking with this place

Impossible de joindre les personnes Pas de wifi pendant 3 jours Pas de serviettes ,savon Pas d'eau en arrivant Eau marron par la suite avec de la terre

− Impossible de joindre les personnes pour la chambre, personne pendant tout le séjour Pas d eau en arrivant, ensuite eau Marron avec de la terre Pas de serviettes, savon , tv qui ne fonctionne pas Pas de wifi pendant 3 jours

The location was perfect for my needs.

− the tv wasn't working in the unit I stayed at but they told me that apon arrival and offered me a different room if I chose. I checked out the other unit but liked the AC better in the first unit. So i can not fault them. They gave me the options and I chose the unit with the better AC over the TV

We stayed here during the storm and felt completely safe. The kitchenette is so handy and useful. Plus, it's close to all amenities. A good place to stay if you want to cook, chill, or stay during a storm.

The host is incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the booking process seamless. I highly recommend this place

This is my second time booking at this homestay villa, and once again, it has exceeded my expectations. The property is well-maintained, spacious, and offers a very comfortable stay.
