7.0Rooms were big and clean. Nice grounds. There is a bbq and bar operating in the pavilion on the lake - which had a good atmosphere and food and beer.
− It was removed from town so limited food options. Breakfast was just OK Staff did not have much information about accessing Hayshan - and weren’t overly helpful
Perfect if you want to visit the mountain
10.0It’s a pretty odd hotel as it’s so massive and static, but it was perfect for me! If your main purpose is to visit the mountain it’s great, they organise a free drop off to the starting point. Room was comfy and warm. Breakfast was good too with heaps of options! Ladies at the reception were helpful even though I speak zero Chinese :)
− There is nothing in the area since it’s out of town, but again if you are there just to do the mountain it’s no issue. I just had an early dinner and ate at a restaurant when I returned from the mountain before heading back to the hotel.

8.0Staff went above and beyond to help. Service was excellent. Breakfast was included in the price and was a buffet style with a wide range of options. There is a large lobby with seating areas.
− The restaurant seemed to close by 7pm so I had to buy instant noodles from the small shop in the foyer, which were quite expensive. Other than that, it was a great experience. There is no bar, either, and I'd have liked to have sat and had a beer.
