10.0Very serene, peaceful, extremely relaxing. The location and veiw was exceptional. The hosts were very friendly. I really loved that they offered a braai pack to purchase with some wood and side salads. Very convenient and tasted great!
Quiet, peaceful, refreshing farm stay
8.0The accommodation's location far from the hustle and bustle of the highway and city was a welcome change after having been travelling for a number of days. Although we arrived at night with the family unable to take in the views on the drive to the farm, they fully warmed up when they got to see how spacious the place was. They immediately declared it the best of the places we had stayed over the festive period road trip we under took (traversing South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe). Family was so happy that they decided they would want to go back for a holiday some time this year.
− There is no cellphone reception and I was just praying that we wouldn't have a breakdown during that time of the night as there would be no way to contact our hosts. The good thing is that we had been alerted of this beforehand so perhaps had we not reached the place by a certain time (after telling them we were now on the gravel road- where signal gets lost), they might have come in search of us.
This was a fantastic stay and our host was wonderful.
