Great Location, relaxing stay
10.0Stayed with a friend. Great Location, loved the traditional Japanese interior. The floor heating was amazing, and it was nice being able to relax on the sofa while watching a movie on the big projector screen. Would love to come back

An authentic experience with nice ambience in a quiet neighborhood.
6.0Location was an easy walk to the Higashi Chaya District, which was nice. However, a bit further from many of the sites and restaurants we wished to visit. It was in a quiet residential neighborhood of full-time residents; not fancy, but felt authentic.
− Sofa was too small for our family of three (even though we are very average sized people). Stairs to upper level bedroom were quite steep (did not even taken my slightly larger than carry-on suitcase to the bedroom as a result). Mattress and futon were both very firm, and for our group could have been much more comfortable. Projector screen provided in lieu of a real TV.
