Amazing, comfortable, homely and so relaxing
10.0We had hired the house which included the kitchen dining living room and 6 bedrooms we had an amazing time. The hot tub faces out to the firth of Clyde and the views are excellent kids loved it. Short distance from town and ferry terminal. The house furnishings are amazing. The Christmas decorations made it more homely for new year. The lounge is so relaxing. The kitchen has all equipment for large families, we cooked our own meals and no hassles at all. Bedrooms are out of this world with amazing decor large beds some with pull out sofa beds, all ensuite. Bathrooms are perfect. Very cosy house. Felt right at home. Will deffo go back was an amazing break. Family loved it.
Think twice, avoid an unexpected price shock!
5.0Bute is a lovely island, with many places to visit, great for walking, beaches and activities. The house was nicely set up for us, the hot tub was lovely and the views were super. The bedrooms were very comfortable except one had insufficient space to open the sofabed. There is a large comfortable living room. The on-site caretaker and cleaning staff were first class.
− The booking was a nightmare in the final stages as our numbers changed and I was required to pay an extra £520 for a weekend although we were well within the allowed occupancy. There was nothing in the booking policy to warn of this if the group number changed. Do think twice and confirm the actual potential cost before committing to a booking. The kitchen was small for the size of the property with very little workspace, but it was manageable. The outside terrace was narrow with a very narrow table and insufficient space for eating outdoors which was a shame on such glorious days and evenings. The outside table and chairs shown in the photos were not there. The low score was given on account of the booking/pricing issue.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful Island!
10.0The property had stunning views, massive rooms, e suite in every room and well equipped for our 16 person stay. The hot tub was brilliant. There was a small beach very near to the property so it meant we could use our paddle boards and kayaks which was fab! Highly recommend staying here, we had a brilliant time and would 100% go back again!
