Cosy little cabin surrounded by snow and Northern Lights
10.0Cabin Onnela surpassed all expectations, the location is spectacular, surrounded by snow and Northern Lights. The cabin is well equipped, with a hob and microwave, and a workable selection of kitchen utensils. Whilst it doesn't have mains water, it has an electric camping shower, and a water heater on the sauna chimney, and the hosts Teema and Lotta left plenty of drinking water for our stay. We loved wandering around the breathtaking snow covered scenery and peaceful nature, to come back to a cozy cabin and a sauna with a view. We were lucky enough to see several spectacular aurora displays over the frozen lake..All in all, it was an unforgettable experience!

10.0Our stay in this wood cabin in Lapland was truly unforgettable. One of the highlights was the fantastic sauna—perfect after a day outdoors and exactly what you hope for in this part of the world. The location is absolutely stunning, set right by a peaceful lake, with hiking trails starting directly from the cabin. We were incredibly lucky to see the northern lights dancing right above the cabin and reflecting over the lake, a magical moment we’ll never forget. What made the experience even more special were the amazing hosts: warm, generous, and genuinely welcoming. They took us ice fishing and then welcomed us back home with a chance to try homemade salmon soup, which was the perfect ending to an already incredible day. This place is something truly special, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

10.0Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in Teemu‘s and Lotta‘s Cabin. Sie sind superbemüht und die Polarlichter können von dort aus beobachtet werden.

10.0Wow! The location was exceptional! The way the hosts had set up the area was so kind. The fires in the cooking spot and in the wood fire sauna were roaring, all twinkle lights that made for a cosy welcome. We really enjoyed this night and will never forget the memories we made here.
