We had a great relaxing an enchanting weekend here. Since we wanted to join the fireworks Festival 2025 also in Nadur/Gozo, fate led us to this wonderful village. When we entered the apartment, we were immediately very impressed. The Penthouse is well equipped and tastefully decorated. The mattresses are very good, we were able to sleep really well without any pain. Also kitchen and livingroom are lovely, but the very best is the big terrace with a stunning view, simply breathtaking! You can see Comino and the blue lagoon and we could even watch the fireworks from up above. The communication with the hosts was unique, when we had a question the answer followed immediately. They are very kind, nice and so generous! Since it was possible (from the reservations side), they allowed us an early check in and also a late checkout without any extra charge. Perfect for us, so charming! We are very thankful and hope we can come back someday and stay longer . We can warmly reccomend to stay here! The Penthouse Number 4 is in second house right beside the Osteria Sottadito (on the right, adress: Torri Ta Kenuna). When we arrived, we used the stairs to the top floor, but there is actually an elevator! (with mirror-doors in the back of the groundfloor). So it really could'nt be better! We can highly recommend a stay here.

Damp apartment, mold problems, and poor handling by hosts, not recommended!!!

I booked this place for a week, planning to extend if all went well. However, after arriving, I quickly realized I couldn’t stay. The apartment felt damp, with mold under the bedroom window and a large patch on the living room wall. The kitchen wall was swollen from moisture, and it wasn’t clean. Being sensitive to mold, I started feeling throat irritation shortly after entering, signaling this was an unhealthy environment. I contacted the hosts, requesting to leave with a refund. They said they’d be there in 15 minutes. I was already packing but decided to wait, which I now regret. The hosts came with a woman who was extremely rude and confrontational. She spoke over me, didn’t let me explain, and tried to touch me. She told the hosts how to avoid giving a refund, claiming the mold was just “dirt” and they’d wipe and paint over it — they even brought paint. She also shouted that if I agreed to stay, we’d “go drink wine,” but if not, I should “leave immediately.” They accused me of "using the apartment," even though I’d only been there for 1.5 hours, including the confrontation. The woman pointed out pre-arrival photos, mentioning that one towel was moved to the bathroom — I simply washed and dried my hands. She also complained about the wrinkled bed cover, which is normal for a place I paid €400 for. The hosts were mostly silent. As I left, the man told me to bring a doctor’s note proving mold sensitivity. They began painting the wall in front of me and suggested I hire mold inspectors at my expense. I came for rest, not to supervise repairs. I have photos, videos, symptoms, and common sense — that’s enough. They didn’t offer a real refund, calling it a “50% discount,” meaning two weeks for €400. This wasn’t a refund; it was manipulation. On Booking, they were polite, likely trying to look good for the platform, but their real behavior was very different. I strongly advise against booking this property.

Great location & Value for money

This penthouse is just right for a couple of a single person travelling to Gozo, it has everything one needs with a great scenic view of the harbour. It's only 11 mins away by walk to the square with a number of restaurants. Highly recommended and value for money accommodation!
