Clean, cozy getaway a minute walk from the water
10.0It was clean, cozy and spacious. It has all the essentials for a comfortable stay if someone wants to enjoy a week in the stonington/mystic area. A perfect getaway location for people or couples who want a clean, quiet place to use a home base as they explore the surrounding area. The kitchenette is more than sufficient for cooking simple meals, the couch/tv area perfect for playing board games or watching a movie, and I can’t think of a better way to describe other than clean, cozy apartment. It rained for most of my stay in Stonington and had to stay indoors, but the apartment didn’t feel cramped at all like how a hotel room can. Just enough space to spread out and relax, listen to the rain, and chill. The shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water. No concern that it would suddenly turn cold after a few minutes. It’s located on a quiet street that is a 2 minute walk to the water and a 10-15 minute walk to local restaurants and cafes. I hope everyone that follows not only appreciates this cozy apartment, but also takes extra effort to be neat and tidy to help preserve the qualities that make it so cozy.
