Comfy stay at Compass Cottage
8.0Cosy cottage. Location was great, opposite a pub and very close to the beach and ferry to Teignmouth. We stayed late October and the cottage was nice and warm once the heating was on. Well equipped kitchen.
− No toilet rolls on arrival! Who doesn’t leave a loo roll for their guests?! Luckily the local convenience store was still open when we arrived! Every cottage we have stayed in over the years has always had a welcome pack such as tea, coffee, milk, cream tea or cake. Sadly we didn’t get one here. Nice roses on the table though. The mattresses were too soft for us and very bouncy, that may be personal preference though. If you have mobility problems you may find the stairs and bathroom a little difficult. If you’re tall you may find the shower a little challenging.
