the people were great, given that booking.com system faulted them and us. they were not notified of our stay as it was an urgent booking for the same night, and Booking.com booked the stay a week late. Yet the amazing people prepared us a 1ST Class supper at short notice, re-arranged their schedules to accommodate us, really going of their way to be as accommodating as they could, even though we arrived after 21h00 The Location is beautiful, if they had prior notification, I'm sure everything would perfect

− Booking.com system was a disappointment, finding the venue was an absolute nightmare as their was no contact informartion and the location we stayed was linked to a diffent venue, which we did not know but getting hold of anyone @ Booking.com is just plainly impossible

The hosts are wonderful. The horses, giraffs , the river view. All of it exceptional. A lovely rustic reset that meets luxury with white linen beds at the end of an adventurous day. Lots to do for families, awesome mountain biking trial, horse riding, fishing ... breakfast was lovely..our new home away from home..

− There's no cell signal ... but who says thats a bad thing. There is wifi and signal up at the big lapa.

− Hi I booked online paid in full. Time of arrival was ask. I given my time of arrival. On arrival the gate was looked. I hoot drove to another gate was also looked. I hoot one of the vehicles there the alarm went off. I was terrified not knowing the place. Dirt road. I had to drive back to Boksburg at 22h45. Can I please just get my money back. Thank you for no service.

Rustic - Not glamping

I was happy when the hosts moved us to the main lodge at Thandile Country Lodge. We ended up having a lovely stay and really enjoyed the views, the grounds with the roaming animals and we loved the dogs.

− The river cottages were not very comfortable and when we arrived the geyser was leaking which made it difficult to get hot water.

Le cottage en bord de rivière était superbe : confortable et cosy. L’endroit est fantastique, avec tous les animaux qui vont et viennent dans le jardin. Malheureusement, nous sommes arrivés un soir de gros orage. Le propriétaire a souhaité nous surclassé pour nous éviter des problèmes en étant un peu isolés. Nous avons donc été relogé dans la maison principale, le Thandile Country lodge. Notre hôte a été très accueillant, il nous a accompagné dans toutes nos demandes. Le lodge principal était très confortable. On peut utiliser la cuisine commune et le salon, de la maison qui date de 1870.
