Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le propriétaire est d'une gentillesse incroyable, il s'est occupé de toutes nos demandes. Tout est au top : le lieu paisible, la douche à l'extérieur, le lit confortable, le petit déjeuner, ... Je recommande vivement. Merci encore!

Potential but needs a deep clean

This is a mixed feelings kind of place. The garden is pretty, the decorations are thoughtful and communication through WhatsApp was mostly clear. Breakfast was included and served in the garden. Outside bathroom is a nice touch. Transport to and away from this homestay was quickly arranged through WhatsApp for a fair price. We could easily rent a scooter for 85k a day through the accommodation.

− We left a day early because we weren't really comfortable. It all didnt feel clean, the toilet was dirty and seat was falling off. The shower was very unclear and even after asking how it worked we never got hot water. The overall bathroom needs a deep clean as it was moldy, and the poo and toothpaste stains of previous guests was visible. The towel and bedsheets had holes in them. The breakfast was 2 eggs, some fruit, a juice and coffee/tea which is a nice western touch but not filling. As we left a day early we asked for double breakfast (as we didnt ask for our money back for the night skipped), which they arranged and that was filling. Also apart from the mosque starting at 5 am every morning (not something the accommodation can influence), also the neighbours had loud music until late at night on a Wednesday evening. Also sitting in the garden is not for everyone as the 5 fountains made quite some noise. The curtains didnt block any light so when we asked to turn off the lights outside, that proved difficult because light switch for 2 rooms. Also we booked a double room and got a room with 2 relatively big beds. Which is usually nice, but now there was no space to walk or put down your stuff. English of the staff was minimal, better through WhatsApp.

We really enjoyed Garamenjangan. The host was very accommodating and made sure our stay was unforgettable. This is a very well-run establishment, and I would recommend it to anyone who is planning on visiting the area to stay at Gara Homestay.

Clean tidy great value great host He was a absolute legend organised the snorkelling trip ( a must do we are travelling free diving around indo this place was epic) his guy was a great guy plus cheaper then all the other companies. Location is good we had are own bikes dinner in the hills one night is recommended . These local restaurants 2min walk and good cheap food Breaky was good too
