The view and staff were perfect. The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was tasty. The property was well maintained with a very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our experience.

− The shower water wasn’t hot enough for me and the walk down the path to the unit was more intense than anticipated when bringing as much luggage as I did. It was worth the trade off though.

Best option for Mt Batur, almost perfect

It is unfair of other guests to leave low reviews because of the stairs to the property. This is clearly noted on the posting, and upon booking, you get another reminder that the cabins are not easy to access and require walking a lot of steep stairs. So, it is a feature, a benefit for some, and for those who do not want that - they should not have booked it. The location is perfect - so many people stay down in the village where it is foggy and noisy, but this place offers the most beautiful view of the sunrise at Mt Batur. We stayed for two nights, watched the red sky from our bed and had breakfast with the rising sun, and took a taxi to the hiking route start once the sun was out and climbed Mt Batur - no guide, no crowds on the top apart from a couple of other people, just fantastic. Seems like a much better option than hiking in the middle of the night to have a cold breakfast with dozens of other people on the top. The cabins themselves are really well constructed and are being maintained with much care. Our cabin was spotlessly clean, even better than the 4* and 5* places we stayed in other locations in Bali. The bed is very comfortable, and there is a thick duvet for the cold nights as well as a fan for the hot days. The staff who are on site is available for anything at any time; we had a few minor requests that were addressed immediately. Breakfast is basic but much appreciated - it is a remote cabin after all. We wanted to customise it a bit, which was possible, and could pick what time we wanted it. The best food spots in the area are a 2mins walk, and a 5-minute drive. The steps are a problem, and you do need to be in a bit of good shape to walk them up and down. The staff helped with our suitcases without us asking for it, and not expecting anything for it. Overall, having stayed in multiple locations in Bali, some 4x the price of this cabin, it was our favourite location and would strongly recommend it.

− The owner can make it a part of the package for the guests' bags to be carried up and down the stairs, as 99% of people would be able to do it, esspecialy with a suitcase.

Amazing views and comfortable bed. Tea and coffee available in the room.

− As almost everyone says, the walk. I‘m fit so not problem but still very annoying. Bring earplugs, dogs barking all night! But the biggest minus is the amazing bath tub. How can you have a bathtub with such an amazing view and then no hot water?!? In general the water temp is too low there, but the bathtub you can‘t even fill 10cm with hot water.

It was a breathtaking view and a good stay, staff was helpful, more than 2 night we wouldn’t recommend

The view to mountain banur is incredible and breathtaking, we loved to see the sunrise

− That it was so cold in the night, first night we were freezing, also with the 2nd blanket, could’ve known before, also that the location around is not so welcoming and we had to go around 10 min to the hut

Panorama e pulizia.

− Per arrivarci con i bagagli non è stato semplice, bisogna scendere a piedi giù nella montagna, non è vicino. Poteva essere un bel 10, ma a causa di questo problema metto 6.
