9.0Die Lage am Golden Lake ist traumhaft. Wir waren ausserhalb der Saison und die Anlage war nicht ausgebucht. Der Bungalow war sehr sauber und wir haben uns gefreut auch mal selbst zu kochen. Die Feuerstelle vor dem Cottage und der direkte Zugang zum See mit einem wunderbaren Sonnenuntergang waren ganz nach unserem Geschmack .
− Wir haben erst kurz vor dem check in erfahren,dass wir eigene Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen sollen und haben uns noch schnell damit eingedeckt. Ich kann mich nicht daran erinnern diese Information bereits beim Buchungsprozess erhalten zu haben, sonst hätten wir das Bettzeug bereits aus Deurschland mitgebracht Das Wasser aus der Leitung hatte einen "schwefeligen Geruch".
Perfect Weekend Getaway at Lakepoint Cottages Resort
10.0We had a wonderful weekend stay at Lakepoint Cottages Resort in Cottage #6. The cottage was fantastic—spotlessly clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms with cozy beds, a spacious living room with a free-standing fireplace, and a beautiful view of the lake. The cottage also had a lovely porch overlooking the lake. For outdoor activities, we enjoyed the fire pit, picnic tables, and Muskoka chairs. The location was perfect, right on a beautiful sandy beach, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing getaway. One of the best features was the resort's convenient online store. Whether we needed snacks, firewood, or other essentials, we could order them with just a few clicks, and they were delivered right to our doorstep within minutes—a great added bonus! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
− The tap water smelled a little of sulfur, but it was completely safe to drink and bathe in.
