10.0We hired the villa as a family of 8 ranging from 5 years old to 68 years old. On arrival the hosts greeted us warmly and showed us around. They had also prepared a delicious buffet for us to enjoy. The villa is huge with beautiful and spacious rooms which we found to be clean and well maintained. The garden and pool areas are excellent and the pool has a shallower end which was perfect for the kids. The location of the villa is ideal for trips to Lucca and Pisa and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. We had hire cars and did need them to be able to go to the supermarket for supplies but a bus does run from a short walk to vorno. There are excellent train and bus services from san Guiliano terme which is a 10 minute drive away. The 2 local restaurants in vorno are walking distance from the villa and are both excellent. We loved our stay and highly recommend the villa for a family holiday.

9.0The villa offers breathtaking views and is brimming with historic charm and original features. The host was exceptionally kind and accommodating and laid on some delicious snacks and pastries for our arrival, which were grateful for. We enjoyed our stay immensely particularly our early morning swims and having breakfast on the charming terrace.
