Alex went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as smooth and comfortable as it could be. The location was excellent and the room was incredibly clean with amenities I have never had the pleasure to enjoy at this price range. I would recommend anyone going to Taormina to stay here.

After reading the positive reviews, we decided to book this apartment, and it turned out to be even better than expected. The host was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and attention had clearly been paid to every detail. The location was excellent, with easy access to everything in Taormina. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip and made us appreciate Taormina even more. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

The host was very good: friendly, helpful, and explained everything clearly at check-in. There is no self check-in, as the keys need to be collected in person, but the process was easy. The apartment is large, bright, and pleasant, with everything needed for a stay of a few days. The location is excellent, with most places within easy walking distance.

A wonderful stay

Donna Franca was a perfect place to stay. Less than a 5 minute walk to the main areas of Taormina but on a relatively quiet side road. Apartment itself was clean and spacious and right beside a grocery store if you plan on doing your own cooking. Alex was a perfect host, extremely responsive and helped us organize valet parking (€20/day) that drops your car back whenever you need it. The coffee machine broke and he had a new one in less than a day and gave us a local traditional cake to make up for it along with a small welcome package which was all greatly appreciated.

− Very little that we didn't love and all things completely outside of Alex's control. It's a booking.com issue but we incorrectly thought that we had access to the hot tub but that's only the other apartment so just double check you have the correct one. The only other thing just to flag is the roads around Taormina and the apartment are very narrow so to take car if you're renting a car!
