10.0Очень удобное расположение, надо только перейти дорожку и попадаешь на собственный пляж с лежаками под тенью деревьев. Риф примерно в 30 метрах от берега, рыбы, черепахи, мурены в наличии. Персонал замечательный, отзывчивый и приветливый, всегда готов помочь в решении проблем. Питание качественное - завтрак стандартный, на выбор континентальный/мальдивский/блинчика, обед и ужин по меню. Готовят вкусно, выбор блюд неплохой. Желания пробовать еду в других местах не возникло. Приятно, что в гестхаусе проживает кошачья семья, к которой хорошо относятся, есть с кем поиграться и о ком позаботиться.

9.0Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Sie haben extra für uns Omeletten gekocht. Auch Früchte und Toast ubd Kaffee soviel man wollte gab es. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir beim Bootssteg erwartet. Unser Gepäck wurde direkt ins Zimmer gebracht. Auch bei der Abreise waren sie uns mit dem Gepäck behilflich.

Awesome stay at Ostrov Beach
10.0I loved so many things about this hotel and Ukulhas in general. The staff was very nice, they took care of our one year old and he was really comfortable with them from day one. The island is a little far away from Male / Velana airport, but the hotel made arrangements to book us on the speedboat there and for our return journey. Be warned, that journey takes 90-120 mins, but is quite comfortable. The island is such a revalation. I had a lot of chats with the locals and got to know how the islanders get together to have a safer beach and a more vibrant aquatic life, so that travellers have a good time whatever they choose to do. And unlike a private island, here you get to experience what life is like living on a remote island which is barely 2km x 0.5km, yet tries to be self sufficient as much as possible. Props to all the staff, they work hard at their jobs to make sure we were well taken care off, whether it was reception or kitchen or housekeeping or local entertainment.
− I understand the constraints of sourcing fresh food, so this isn't as much as a complaint as it is a fyi to folks planning to come here- fresh veggies aren't generally available here (and as I understand across Maldives). So vegetarian food options are fairly limited. Also don't expect to have fresh seafood coz all they are legally allowed to source and serve is tuna and prawns, most of which is canned. And unfortunately for me atleast, I dont like the taste of tuna, and I'm allergic to prawns. Lots of other options for meat eaters, viz chicken and beef and egg.
