The perfect spot for your Chania based holiday

Villa Seyian lies on the edge of Chania in Galatas - a short taxi ride from the city centre with its hustle and bustle, and provides the perfect tranquil spot to relax and take time for yourself. It is about 30 mins from the airport. The villa itself is exceptional, and our host (Efi) had thought of everything. From the welcome pack on arrival (including beer, wine and fruit in the fridge), spa products in the bathrooms, soft towels, even a milk frother in the kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble (including booking us the perfect table at the Pallas in Chania for dinner). The pool was lovely, refreshing and welcoming. The garden area is restful and the sun pans round it during the day - there is always both a shady spot and full sun. Locally you have one of the best small coffee outlets just 2 minutes walk away, two tavernas in walking distance and two mini markets with the basics that you need. A larger market was about 2o mins walk down the hill and restaurants on Kalamaki beach are 5-7 minutes away by taxi. Getting around is easy - there is a regular bus service to Chania with a stop right outside the villa, or you can use the local 'Taz' taxi app (we used it a lot!). All in all if i could give more than 5 stars i would!

It was gorgeous from top to bottom. From home to host our entire stay was incredible. We were welcomed with love and comfort. Everything we could have needed was accessible to our fingertips. I would recommend this Villa to everyone and anyone.

We loved the decor, the fly-screens, the beautiful pool, the warm, kind and friendly hosts, the sea views and sunsets, the resident dragonfly, the swallows flying overhead, the generous welcome provisions, the proximity to supermarkets and restaurants, the quality of everything in the villa, comfortable beds, the air conditioning.

− The villa was generally quiet but there was a bit of sporadic road noise and dogs barking in the day from time to time. The nights were very quiet. The absence of smoke alarms. That said, we would definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about our holiday in Villa Seyian. Lovely villa with a pool, extremely clean and tidy & very comfortable. The host Efi was wonderful, very kind and went above and beyond to make sure our holiday was amazing, she helped organise car hire, recommended places to visit and one morning even dropped us off the most delicious breakfast from her favourite bakery. Thank you so much :) Great location for exploring Crete, would recommend hiring a car but there is a bus stop right outside the villa which takes you to Chania. Loved the little cafe one minute away which did the best freddo cappuccinos and bougatsa.

Jeg, min søster og min mor har bodd en uke i Villa Seyian. En uke i forkant av oppholdet kontaktet jeg Efi, husets eier på instagram for å sjekke hvordan vi lettest kan komme oss til og fra, og Efi rådet oss til å leie en bil da man kan parkere rett utenfor døren til villaen. Angrer ikke et sekund på at vi leide bil, det var billig og enkelt å komme seg til og fra. Når vi kom frem var Efi her selv for å møte oss og vise oss rundt i villaen. Villa Seyian er virkelig et syn! Det er et nydelig mursteinshus med delikate farger, nydelig innredet, tre soverom, tre bad, stue og kjøkken. Sengene er fantastiske, vi har sovet som steiner, og det er godt med plass til å henge opp klær og pakke ut. Det er TV med Chromecast på alle rom, så man kan være litt for seg selv om man vil. På kjøkkenet er oppvaskmaskin, kaffemaskin, vaskemaskin, kombiskap og ellers alt du behøver for å lage mat. Det er insektsnetting foran alle vinduer og dører, veldig bra. Håndsåpen, dusjsåpe og alle rengjøringsmidlene lukter skikkelig godt og vi hadde ikke behov for å kjøpe noe som helst da alt var her fra før. Uterommet er delikat med spisebord under tak, 150cm dypt basseng (perfekt!), utedusj, grill, utekjøkken, planter, solsenger og solstoler. Uteområdet er nydelig på dagtid, og helt magisk på kvelden! Uteområdet er helt usjenert fra naboer, og villaen ligger i et veldig stille og rolig strøk i Galatas. Det er apotek rett opp i gaten, minimarket, frisør og flere restauranter i gangavstand. Den aller fineste stranden er 5 minutter unna med bil (Sunset Beach/Agii Apostoli), og der er det gratis parkering. Villaen ligger helt perfekt til midt mellom sentrum og shoppingstrøket i Platanias. Om du ikke vil leie bil går bussen rett utenfor døren. Midt i uken ordnet Efi med rengjøring og litt oppfriskning i huset, det var veldig deilig å komme hjem til rent hus etter en lang dag på stranda. Efi har vært en helt fantastisk vertinne, og hun er veldig lett å kommunisere med.
