Unfortunately, nothing about the property was satisfactory

− The property in no way matches the description or pictures shown in the listing. The house is damp, poorly maintained, and extremely humid, with an unbearable stench of moisture and mold. Personal belongings were left inside, including dirty cots and old brooms. The towels provided were shabby and stained. The staircase between the two floors is dangerously steep, lacks a railing, and is not secured. The floor at the top of the stairs is broken and unstable, making it unsafe. The listing claimed that parking was available (suggesting it was reserved for guests), yet we were forced to park far away. The terrace is completely detached from the main house, directly on the street, dirty, and overrun by stray cats in poor condition. The front door lock was defective and only repaired after six days of our stay. Hot water works only in the upstairs bathroom and not on the ground floor. The electricity kept cutting out, and unsafe fans even caused short circuits. The owners do not live on-site; the property is managed by a local agency. Despite filing a complaint, we were offered only a minimal and inadequate compensation.

Fresh despite the heat outside, vintage look and feel. Decent beds for 6 adults (4 twins, 1 queen). It’s spacious didn’t feel cramped, even had a washer in the downstairs bathroom; also had a roomy kitchen and dining area. Had a table for 6 to sit outside in the patio and table for 2 on balcony with an amazing view.

− Hot water was tricky to turn on. Steps to go upstairs are narrow and steep, not recommended for anyone with limited mobility. Downstairs bathroom’s ceiling is low not good for anyone taller than 5’9. Tip: if you wash, put your clothes to dry on balcony, they won’t dry inside overnight.
