Privé parkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Ruime kamer. Mogelijkheid tot diner en ontbijt (tegen betaling), allemaal zelf gemaakt (en veel uit eigen tuin).

− Locatie waar verder niet veel is. Betaling alleen in cash. Geen koelkast op de kamer (maar de eigenaar wil het één en ander wel gekoeld bewaren). Geen koffie- en theefaciliteiten op de kamer. Zeer slechte tot geen wifi. Slechts één stopcontact op de kamer. Geen airco (wel een fan). Zeer klein en hard bed.

Koko and Jo were very pleasant and helpful.

− The house was very hot without A/C. They mentioned that someone stole some of their fans so some areas were quite warm and uncomfortable.

We tolerated the difficulties, we were treated with disrespect and not as paying guests.

Location

− Paid more than the agreed advertised price (extra £350.00). The advertised pictures of the property were deceptive. Food was expensive for the portion sizes (very small) and not as advertised on their website, felt we were given left over food. We reported the fault with shower head it was like a fountain, and the host responded that we shouldn't touch it, but it was repaired. No housekeeping (non-existent); had to request for bed linen to be changed, and fresh towels, no facilities to do washing we asked how we could do this and was given a bucket, bins not emptied. When we asked about house keeping, the host responded that their guests never asked for it, as far as we are concerned, housekeeping is standard. The initial welcome was good, but declined during our stay. We couldn't leave or enter the building freely during our stay. We asked for a few drinks to be stored in their fridge and the host took umbrage. The host made very derogatory comments about the locals and was very offensive to our taxi driver. The final straw was, we had to wait two hours in the rain for both hosts to return to let us into the property as we were not given keys and they knew we were waiting and when they returned they were intoxicated.

Amazing hosts. Got explanations of local life, culture, and many many plants. Really great food... please try that before leaving! Koko and Jo are really great people. It was really pleasant talking to them and getting to know more about Jamaica. Very welcoming and available to accommodate our needs, even if for one night only. Great villa with loads of artistic creations from the owners. Possibility to park your car. Really enjoyed the sunrise view from the terrace! Thank you!!! Hope to bake real Italian pizza in your oven one day :)

Koko und Jo sind total liebe Gastgeber. Wir haben uns gut unterhalten (trotz leichter sprachlicher Barrieren). Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Auch die Bewirtung, Frühstück, Abendessen und Rum 😂, alles super. Vielen Dank
