Spacious, clean, perfect location for our visit,

− Not very disabled friendly, no hand rail for going up the stairs, sofa bed was very uncomfortable

Good Location, but lacking in home comforts

The property overlooked a park which was lovely, and the garden was pleasant. Carpets Good, comfortable beds and nice towels/linen.

− Smell at bottom of the stairs, like cooking, but no one was cooking. Lack of oven gloves, small vegetable knife, colander. No where to put wet towels in bathroom. No where, other than a rail to put clothes on.

There was Zetland Park across the road which was a great place to walk the dog and to let our son play in the park.

− Unfortunately the house was not clean, this included the hob being burnt and dirty. The oven grills being dirty and covered in greasy bacon. The bin was dusty and dirty, the kitchen cupboards had grease on the handles. This was disappointing to say we were charged £110 for cleaning. Secondly I messaged the property and they stated it was extremely clean to which it wasn't and then did not have the decency to respond. One of the single beds mattress had a large dip, therefore it was pretty uncomfortable to sleep in Secondly the description states it is dog friendly, however the garden had a hole in the fence so we couldn't let the dog off the lead, therefore this is not dog friendly. The description states you can sit in the garden, however there was no garden furniture to allow this. The garden was overgrown and the slabs were uneven at the back of the garden. Personally the description is not what was described. I personally feel a picture of the house externally should be available. This was in a middle of an estate where cars were using the road as a race track, all hours of the day. Over the time of our stay there were 4 car accidents. If this was available before hand I would not have booked this property due to the location. For the amount of money we paid, we were expecting a higher standard than we received. Overall we are extremely disappointed.

The property was clean and tidy. The location was good for Grangemouth.

− The property didn’t look finished we found a nail sticking out and a smoke alarm hanging from the ceiling. We also had an issue with an upstairs radiator which we solved. We felt for the standard of accommodation £630 for 3 nights was too much. We have stayed locally and paid less for a higher standard.
