親切な家族がもてなしてくれました。みなさんとても優しく移動のためのバスを調べてくれたりととても親切でした。お部屋もとっても綺麗でご飯も美味しかったです。

− 良くなかったわけではないですが、朝ごはん、昼ごはん、夜ご飯について（料金など）をあらかじめ記載していただけるととても助かります。バックパッカーはお金を節約してる方が多いと思うので…

I highly recommend the safari, the rooms and all the services. The reason is that we found everything very nice and tidy and I highly recommend this accommodation to our fellow tourists.

Bait and Switch

− Bait and switch on the room. After reserving the room, the host reached out on WhatsApp trying to sell me taxi and safari services. I declined as I had my own transportation and was sharing a safari with some other tourists I met earlier in the trip. After it became apparent I wasn't interested in their other services, the hotel told me I had to cancel my booking because they had an emergency. I advised them my booking was non refundable so if they had an issue they had to cancel. They refused and they kept pressuring me to cancel. I declined. I was the only guest booked for that day and when I showed up, the hotel gate was locked. Booking.com sorted me out with alternate accommodation. If you don't mind overpaying for a safari through your hotel, it's probably fine to stay here, but if you don't intend to do your safari through them, they will leave you stranded without accommodation way outside the city.

Der Aufenthalt in der Junge Lodge war super schön. Die Familie ist unglaublich herzlich und bemüht. Ich bin abends angekommen und hab ein super leckeres Abendessen serviert bekommen. Am nächsten Morgen hat der Host die Safari für mich alleine gemacht & ein tolles Frühstück vorbereitet 🐘 das Zimmer ist auch super sauber, groß und mit modernem Badezimmer. Ich kann den Aufenthalt sehr empfehlen 😊 vielen Dank an Methum, seinen Vater und die ganze Familie 😊

Wonderful stay

The lodge owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. They gave us a delightful tour of their fruit orchard after treating us to a fresh mango smoothie. We had dinner with them, and the food was not only delicious but generously portioned. Their 15-year-old son expertly arranged all our transfers and organized our safari to Udawalawe National Park—the picnic breakfast basket they prepared exceeded all expectations! Our room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. We highly recommend this wonderful place.
