The open layout, very functional kitchen and walls of windows were wonderful! Loved having Wallabies and an Echidna come around in the evenings, and we were really thrilled that a Koala chose to sit in a tree right beside the living room sofa for a couple of days. The location was also very good as a base for exploring other parts of the Island.

− The only thing we really didn't like was the bed pushed up against the wall. We're getting a bit old and stiff for climbing over each other in the night to get up!

Views from the lounge room. Location was excellent. Local animals. Wood heater. Good sized space. 2 x queen beds and 5 x bunks

Sehr schöne und zugleich praktische Ausstattung, es ist einfach alles was man braucht vorhanden. In der Dämmerung sieht man Tiere direkt vor dem Fenster .

Animal friends, cool property, and a beautiful beach all in one!

We were so pleasantly surprised to be greeted by wallabies right away! The viewing of various animals was definitely a highlight! The property itself is perfectly located in nature and a short walk to the beach.

The location of this property is amazing. It takes about an hour and a half from the ferry terminal, but its such a nice drive. The shack is only a 5 minute walk from the beach and that's beautiful too. The wallaby's that visit around 4pm every day are amazing, my son was feeding them from his hand by the end of our break. The staff were very helpful with directions and information. If I was in the area again I would definitely stay again.

− The only issues we had were that the microwave oven doesn't hold a lot of food as there are no shelves. The mosquitoes in the bedrooms were if like me and you get bitten regularly a pain, but the hosts had provided spray, this isn't really their problem its just worth packing some bite relief cream.

Great place, truly rural, lots of animals visiting us during our stay
