The facilities and size are perfect for a solo stay. The location was excellent, and the neighborhood was quiet, which was nice. Most importantly, the host was very attentive. Cleaning was available upon request, ensuring a comfortable stay. There was also a shared washing machine, so I had no issues using it.

− Any issues that arose during my stay were promptly resolved by the host. (There was a leak in the toilet, but I requested it and it was fixed immediately, and I haven't had any issues since.)

Absolutely fantastic apartment, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of everyday Luxor. The hosts Elaine and Hassan occupy the bottom, front apartment. This was really handy, for collecting keys or If you required any advice or assistance during your stay. I occupied the bottom, rear apartment, which was very spacious and exceptionally clean! The apartment has a new fridge/freezer, a kettle and a small hotplate for cooking. The bathroom was clean and has a lovely hot shower fitted. There is a large flatscreen tv in the living room and free wifi to use. It has one bedroom with a large double bed, which has a small balcony, where you can open the doors for a bit of cool air when it gets a little hot. The air conditioning in the bedroom and living area was lovely and cold and worked fantastic. The apartments are situated around 100m from the ferry/taxi port along the Nile on the West Bank, then turn right at Blue Nile Restaurant for 20/30m. I have been travelling around Egypt for 20 years and this has been the most relaxing and peaceful stay yet! There was no hassle every 2 seconds about trips etc from the hosts - (which every place I've stayed, including hotels seem to do out here). The highlight was being greeted each morning and evening with a friendly smile, asking how my day went. This was appreciated and made the experience much more enjoyable. All being well, I would love to come back again next year.......... Great Place!!!
