We had a family Xmas gathering on a tropical island

− The security was not good. There was uncollected rubbish. There were insufficient pillows. The property needs investment. The smoke alarm battery went which disturbed people’s sleep. When we asked for assistance with these issues not much was forthcoming. NB the location is a half hour walk from the centre of town

Beautiful and Comfortable stay .. but construction ongoing right behind the property

Loved to have the place to ourselves and walk to the beach Playa Coco. The host was helpful and gave us good suggestions on places to eat, etc. The restaurant nearby Pantera HX had awesome cocktails and food.

− There was construction going on right behind the house, with pillars being put up, and could hear something being broken down with hammering. Considering it was very hot outside, we stayed indoors in the afternoon, but it was pretty noisy, and the noise did not allow us to rest/ sleep in the afternoon. (Not the property's fault ... but this did effect our holiday - as we intentionally took a quite place - which did not turn out to be quiet) Also, the door unlock code wasn't working on the outdoor room, got access to it only on the 2nd day.
