The gardens and animals on the property are lovely and it worked for us for the night we were there
6.0The property was in a great location with a lovely view and set in beautiful gardens. The owner or manager and her daughter were kind and responsive to my questions and requests. As no one was coming into our room after us, they allowed for a late check out. I appreciated their flexibility and attentiveness. The price was right for what it was and it suited us fine for the one night we were there.
− The rooms are quite run down. Many of the lights didn’t work in our space. They did immediately change out two of the lights but there were others that needed replacing. The area around the pool did not feel like a space we wanted to hang out in. It was not inviting. The stove required matches to ignite - which is fine, but even that didn’t work well. The latch to lock the door was also difficult to lock and required several tries to get the lock to engage. The two bedroom is really a one bedroom as the second bed(room) is in the main space that has the kitchen. And beware, as it rains a lot, the road up the hill can be very slippery because of the mud. Also note that there are overhead room fans but no A/C
isolated spot close to amenities
9.0The condos are at rhe same time close to amenities, as in Nuevo Arenal, and quite isolated, garanteeing some peace and quiet. Management is quite flexible about entrance and exit times, and will accomodate whenever possible. The rooms are of a good size, and comfortable. Finally, nature is all around, and the garden is part of the rain forest.
− I understand that garden maintenance is necessary, but it would be nice to not start at 6:00 in the morning!

− It is advertised a as 2 bedroom apartment, BUT, it is NOT. It is a 1 bedroom apartment with the living room used as a bedroom.....
Basic accommodation with rustic charm.

− Pool looked a little murky. A little smaller than I thought. I personally liked the location, but, my family felt it was a little far from attractions and preferred La Fortuna.
