There is nothing to like in that area and especially that building with zero customer service

− one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. On the night of 23 June, we returned to the apartment at around 11:10 PM only to find that the keypad lock had completely stopped working. We were unable to enter the apartment despite using the correct access code. To make matters worse, this happened during the Sant Joan celebrations, when Barcelona was packed with people and fireworks were going off everywhere. We had rushed back to the apartment to escape the chaos outside, only to end up stranded in the building's stairwell for almost three hours. One member of our group was pregnant, making the situation even more stressful. The emergency support was extremely disappointing. Every time we called, we had to explain the entire situation from the beginning again. We were first told someone would call us back, but nobody did. After waiting for more than 2 hours in a hot weather over 35 degree sitting on satirs, a staff member finally arrived—only to discover he had been given the wrong key. That resulted in even more waiting while the issue remained unresolved. Eventually, at around 2:15 AM, we were moved to a different apartment for the night. However, all of our belongings, medication, phone chargers and personal items remained locked inside the original apartment. We couldn't even change our clothes or access essential medication. The following morning, we were told someone would come at 9:00 AM to fix the problem. Nobody arrived. We spent the morning repeatedly calling for updates and eventually had to wait until almost midday before a technician finally came. He immediately confirmed that the battery in the electronic lock had simply run out and replaced it within minutes. This entire incident could have been avoided with basic maintenance. Because of this preventable failure, we lost most of the final day of our holiday waiting for access to be restored, and all of our plans had to be cancelled.

− Overall, the accommodation was good and the location was convenient, being close to the metro station. However, I was disappointed by some aspects related to comfort and housekeeping. For a stay of 4 nights and 5 days, we were provided with only two towels per person (one face towel and one bath towel). There was an option to replace them, but at an additional cost of €5 per towel, which I do not consider reasonable for a stay of this length. In addition, no cleaning supplies were provided, and the bed linen was not changed during our stay, nor were clean replacement sheets offered. I believe these services should be included or managed better to improve guests’ comfort. Apart from these issues, the accommodation was satisfactory and well connected to public transport.
