This was a nice, comfortable place to stay while visiting the grandkids in Woolacombe. One review says that there's no fridge, but there is one in a cupboard under the worksurface.

Poor could so a lot better

Omg we thought we got the wrong place when we arrived . Old cars and toys on drive and very over grown gardens. The table and chairs outside was in a jungle of high grass . The bedding was fusty the room smelt fusty , no head board , we thought the kettle did not work but it was the socket where the kettle was plugged in so we had to change it. Felt uneasy having a shower with the back door having a glass window exposing us I can see an effort has been made to try and solve this hanging a towel outside not good enough ! The blinds had big gaps curtains were so thin at 5 am you were woken up and if we were not awake from that the cockerel next door will wake you at 6 am! Also it was our wedding anniversary and there was not even a cork screw the open a bottle of wine to enjoy or sit anywhere .we tried to find somewhere else to stay but no joy . We contacted the owner who was not around that you can see from the state of the place did apologise and said she would refund . Could be a nice place for some one but needs A-LOT of attention ! Also my husband has said it’s is not health and safety approved wire bent into a cupboard . It’s not a beach bungalow apartment it’s a garage conversion at the end of the day !

This property is just one room and shower. Very clean and nicely decorated.

− No comfy chairs to relax. Could not sit anywhere to watch tv. Maybe a tub Chair instead of the rocking horse would help! Chair bed very uncomfortable. Wi-Fi intermittent but this may not be fault of the owner. Garden needs tidy up at front. Curb appeal not good.

Needs adaptation in ensuite to make it really acceptable.

Location, clean, bed quite comfortable.

− No hot water in shower. Hand basin in ensuite difficult to access. No mug or cup for hot drinks had to use cereal bowl.

Location, good presentation, lovely decor. We didn’t see our host.

− The kitchenette didn’t have a fridge! The rubbish was still there from the last guest - it was full! Minimal cutlery standing in a glass. Nowhere to put towel or clothes while showering.
