A true disappointment - Don’t be fooled by the pictures

2.0

I don’t often write reviews, but this experience was simply too poor to ignore. We were looking forward to a peaceful getaway, but instead, we encountered disorganization and a lack of basic hospitality. If you’re considering this place, I would advise looking elsewhere. CHECK-IN TROUBLES: The first issue was the check-in process. Rather than a simple, direct welcome, we were asked to use a third-party website to check in. Given past experiences, I didn’t feel comfortable sharing my personal information on an unfamiliar platform. When I expressed my concerns, the reply I received was, “We kindly ask you to complete the fast check in. Don’t worry, it’s just for our management.” This did not ease my concerns. I offered to send the necessary information via WhatsApp instead, and although they agreed, I had to repeat myself multiple times. It made the entire process frustrating and unwelcoming. ANOTHER LINK FOR A CONTRACT?: After finally checking in, they sent yet another link to a different website, this time asking us to sign a contract. I requested a paper contract instead, but received no response at all. DIRTY AND UNRESPONSIVE: The apartment itself was far from clean. There was dust everywhere—it was evident that no cleaning had been done before we arrived. I’ve attached photos to show the dust buildup. The cutlery was dirty, and the sponge looked like it hadn’t been replaced in months. The towels we were served were extremely dirty and far from fresh. The air conditioning unit was also filthy, with old food stuck to the knobs—it was absolutely disgusting to touch. Worse yet, the toilet seat wasn’t even properly attached and slid around every time you used it, which was both uncomfortable and unsafe.

When I sent photos of the overall condition to the owners, their only response was, “Thank you for the report, we will send these photos to the housekeepers.” That was it. No offer to replace the items, no follow-up, and absolutely nothing was fixed. We had to purchase our own cleaning supplies, which we found completely unacceptable. NO WIFI, NO CELL SERVICE: We were aware there would be no wifi, as it was mentioned on the booking page. However, what wasn’t disclosed was that there was no cell phone signal either. I had to sit in my car just to make business calls. Had we known this beforehand, we never would have booked the apartment. NO CURTAINS IN THE KITCHEN: Another glaring issue was the kitchen window. It had no curtains, so the sun was beaming in as early as sunrise, making it impossible to sleep in. We came for rest and relaxation, not to be woken up at dawn. A simple set of curtains would have made a world of difference. OUTDATED AND UNPLEASANT: The fridge was yellowed from age, and the tap water was both yellow and smelled awful. On most mornings, we had no water at all. The management’s response? “It’s a municipality issue.” GAS AND HOT WATER ISSUES: One evening, the stove ran out of gas, and we had to contact the management to replace it. While they did switch the gas bottle, this is something that should have been checked before we arrived. To make matters worse, we had no hot water for two days, and when I reached out to management, they simply didn’t respond. No hot water for two days, and not even an acknowledgment or apology. NO CLEANING FOR 10 DAYS: We stayed for 10 days, and in that time, the apartment was never cleaned. Not once. No fresh towels, no change of sheets, nothing. It was appalling FINAL THOUGHTS: This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced. The management showed no concern for basic cleanliness or guest comfort. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I will not be returning
