8.0The position! The hotel is directly on the Lake, and can be reached through an easy countryside road (no tarmac). Rooms. Our rooms were huge, nicely furnished, with high quality local toiletries and a tasteful setup. All is clean, very comfortable bedding. Food. Breakfast buffet is really complete with all that you may want. Dinner buffet was also nice, with approx 3 mains options; on one of the days, we were served à la carte because of less than 20 clients (so not ideal for a buffet). Food is generally tasty, Kenyan style so simple ingredients and cooking methods. We got packed lunch for our safari days and it was complete. Staff. Some staff members are really kind and client-oriented, others are a little bit beginners i would say, but in general we were well treated. Common areas. Very clean pool, clean everything, bonfire at evening (highly appreciated at end of June!).
− Probably the most disturbing thing was the low reactivity of some staff members. One of the bathrooms was invaded by lake flies on the 1st evening despite all windows were closed; instead of accepting our suggestion to search for holes, they kept on "accusing" we had left one window open, and just sprayed the room. It was just the day after that they realised there was actually a hole in one of the windows mosquito nets, and they fixed it. Apart from this, all went well.
It is a wonderful hotel next to real nature/lake/birds so quiet and restful and great food and staff
10.0Beautiful location right on the lake; see lot of birds; wonderful quiet feeling of next to nature. Last time I stayed here I went to nearby game reserve and then at nights sat by lake and at wonderful food each night. The chef is fantastic the food really excellent and the service wonderful. The rooms are good and quiet next to lake and bed and facilities comfortable. It is far away from the highway so no car noises, just bird song and the lapping of the lake water. I will go back many times!
The stay was good, the amenities were good. They only need to sort out the internet bandwidth.
8.0The meal variety was good. The staff was pleasant. The rooms were nice, the shower and the soaps from Ajani were very nice.!

Location is great - however the main pool is very dirty.

10.0Het fenomenale uitzicht , Locatie tot wandelen en lopen rond het meer of de bergen op , gezellig restaurant met het beste eten van onze ganse vakantie . Ruime nette kamers en super vriendelijk personeel . Met oudejaar werd ook nog eens een mooi feestje gegeven met vuurwerk .
− Niets eigenlijk .Wel zijn de grotere dieren zoals giraffe , bizon , hippo's niet in de nabije omgeving. Perfect om vogels te spotten wat op zich ook heel mooi is met het uitzicht op een fantastisch meer . Flamingo , pelikanen , ... teveel mooie vogeltjes om op te noemen.
