A lovely stay with beautiful weather, in an ideal location.
9.0Cottage was very clean, in an ideal location, with a lovely welcome pack. Very comfortable beds. We heard that some guests had a problem with the shower, however after a little tweaking, it worked great.
− The only minor issue was the sofa was too low, two of the guests in the party suffer with back problems, and had to pack cushions behind them to find some relief.
Christmas in Seahouses couldn’t have been better.
10.0Wonderful stay for Christmas. The cottage had been tastefully decorated. The host had left us Christmas cake and biscuits for our arrival and even milk in the fridge. I managed a to prepare 4 course meal in the small but well equipped kitchen. Couldn’t have been better.
− Shower was not very good
Despite the negatives we enjoyed the stay and had the minor things been sorted it would have got a5 star.
8.0Great location. 5 min walk to town centre. Quiet area. Included everything you needed and parking which is a bonus.
− The cleanliness was ok but there were lots of cobwebs in corners and something gross at the side of the washer! Two lamps in the lounge had either bulbs out or dodgy wiring that kept them flickering. Not the comfiest of sofas. The hot water made an horrendous LOUD noise every time you ran it, it must have driven the neighbours mad too! Talking of neighbours the walls are so thin you can hear what they are talking about and everything else in between!
