1.0I had a terrible experience at Nang Homestay Tam Dao. A warning to travelers booking rooms on Booking.com before coming to Tam Dao. I booked 3 rooms at Nang Homestay Tam Dao through my Booking.com account. The listings promised beautiful mountain views, supported by attractive promotional photos on the platform. However, on July 11, 2026, when we arrived to check in... what a complete disaster!!! The rooms looked very old, damp, and dirty. The view faced a house under construction, with an outdoor water tank completely blocking the mountain scenery. A strong stench of chicken manure would hit your nose if you sat on the small chairs outside the room (the type similar to sidewalk cafes). On the night of July 11, 2026, my room was extremely noisy due to disturbances from the floor above, which even caused three ceiling lights to burst with loud pops—this was incredibly dangerous. The price advertised on Booking.com was 30% higher than the average rate of other homestays in Tam Dao at the same time. This was one of my worst experiences in Tam Dao during my cross-country trip with my friend on this visit back to my homeland. I will never book hotels or homestays of this caliber on Booking.com ever again. In particular, Nang Homestay Tam Dao is honestly one of the worst homestays I have ever experienced firsthand.

5.0Good location, nice view, friendly staff.
− Not very clean, and apparently a mouse issue in our room - had tried to eat some of the sealed food. At the pool we were filmed by some of the other guests. Very loud and crowded by a school class at the pool, no staff near by to tell them to take other guests into consideration.
