− We booked a 2-night stay at Lily Paradise with our 3-year-old son, but unfortunately, we decided to check out after the first night and find another place. The room had a lot of mosquitoes, which made it uncomfortable, especially with a young child. The property also seemed poorly maintained. There were many overgrown bird of paradise plants that looked like they hadn’t been taken care of for a long time. One of the biggest inconveniences was that the toilet was located outside the room, which was very difficult for us as parents of a toddler. On top of that, the toilet was not clean. The faucet was also frustrating to use because the water flow was inconsistent, and you had to wait and time it just to get enough water. Overall, we felt that the property lacked proper maintenance, the service was disappointing, and the location was not convenient for our needs. We hope the management will improve the cleanliness, maintenance, and facilities so future guests can have a better experience.

What I liked most about this accommodation was its location. It’s conveniently close to San Juan, which is basically the center of restaurants, cafés, and activities in Siquijor, while still being near Paliton Beach, making the place peaceful and relaxing at the same time. The staff were very approachable, kind, and quick to respond to messages, which made everything smooth and convenient. I also appreciated the self check-in and check-out process since it made our stay hassle-free. The place itself was clean, neat, and well-equipped. The WiFi was reliable, the air conditioning worked well, and they even provided an electric fan for extra comfort. It was also reassuring that they had solar power available during outages. The room had complete toiletries, a fridge, umbrella, clothing iron, and hair blower, which made the stay even more convenient. Overall, the accommodation offers great value for money because the service and amenities exceeded expectations for such an affordable price.

− There wasn’t really anything we disliked about the stay. The only thing to note is that the comfort room is located outside the accommodation itself, although each room has its own designated private comfort room. Given the affordable price and overall quality of the stay, it was completely understandable and still very convenient. It also felt secure since each designated comfort room has its own passcode that is only provided to the assigned guests.
