Location and grounds around the room are lovely and the soft lighting around the outside is great too. The lockbox is easy no hassle convenience.

− The room was very neat and tidy but some of the most important areas had not been properly cleaned and on closer observation there seems to be quite a few parts the cleaners have skipped? The curtains on the windows which are large and face outward to the carpark and rest of the property do not provide complete privacy as both sets of the blinds sit off of the windows leaving a large gap on the sides that allows you to see straight into the room on the right angles especially at night.

Short stay, clean and comfortable. Pity about the TV

Spacious for 2 good hot shower

− TV wouldn't work, it said the Antenna was unplugged or service was down.

Quite disappointed in the property, not worth the cost.

Location on the hill overlooking the valley & close proximity to Tanunda was great. Seating on the veranda was nice is the afternoon sun

− Garden was old, tired, damaged & rubbish lying around, unsafe. Broken chairs, hoses, outdoor lights, gate beside lodge rooms. Key not in the lock box Dirty cutlery, used soap bars in the shower, used moisture bottle, bedside cupboard not wiped clean. Limited lighting outside. BBQ was dirty, & broken furniture by the fire pit. Building inside is tired with an old motel room feel, kitchen has been patched up (cupboard door & taps)

It was nice but wouldn’t stay again

It’s in a beautiful location, very peaceful. The room is huge! Bed is big and comfy, water in shower gets hot but takes a little time, plenty of kitchen amenities for making breakfast. Close to town for cafes and pubs (driving distance 5-10 minutes)

− A very surprising and upsetting deposit of $300 expected after booking! You can’t get access to the room without paying it and it’s not mentioned in booking.com that I could see. Was really unexpected and for this we wouldn’t stay again. Also far too many messages, I got sick of the notifications.

BYO firewood

Location was very close Tanunda and several wineries. Cows nearby were friendly and sociable.

− Stay description spoke of views, but the lodge rooms are hemmed in by trees and no view of rolling hills and vineyards as described. BYO firewood was not clearly specified anywhere I could find on the lead up to the stay, which was an extra trip that didn't have to be made. Wine vending machine was not functioning, despite taking my money. I did call the hosts, who offered a refund, which was okay - but what I really wanted was a bottle of Shiraz and not another unplanned drive from the lodging. My partner also reported the electric blanket on her side of the bed only half worked (body or feet setting, can't remember) I don't normally leave reviews but for the price of the stay, this was very disappointing
