A lovely, clean, well appointed house.
9.0It is a lovely property that has everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. It was only a very short drive to the town centre.
− The only downside was there was an ant problem in the kitchen.
Cozy cottage close to shops and cafes
10.0Lovely accommodation. Close to town center. Plenty of heating options. Lovely main bathroom. Comfy couches and bed.
− There was a leak in the second shower. Wasn't until later that I notice it had gone out of the bathroom. Cleaned up with a towel, however the main bathroom was amazing and had no issues. This didn't impact the quality of our stay.

9.0The house was beautifully equipped and thoughtfully decorated, with plenty of quirky design features and ambient lighting options. It was preheated for our arrival, which was a lovely touch, and we were welcomed with bread, milk, orange juice and other refreshments. The space felt luxurious, yet quaint and cosy at the same time. The host provided clear instructions, and there was more than enough firewood to enjoy the fireplace.
− The house is well equipped with two gas fireplaces, a split system and a wood fireplace. It does take a little time to warm up in the mornings, but given it was around 7 degrees outside and the property is older with high ceilings, this is understandable and easy to forgive.

We highly recommend Stockton House for an indulgent and delightful stayover in gorgeous Daylesford.
9.0We loved the visual appeal of every aspect of decoration and furnishing. There was a thoughtful and tasteful mix of Balinese, traditional and funky aesthetics that paid respect to the design of the house and created a welcoming ambiance... And oh, that starry starry bathroom! We were provided with quality breakfast basics, including a few extra treats to make us smile. The front deck was perfect to sample local wine and produce while watching the sunset over the ridge.
