Disappointing - the weather was very hot and we needed the aircon that was advertised, but not there

Excellent location and very nice, innovative decor.

− Confusing instructions led me to beleive that there should be 3 keys, but there were only 2 - one for the street door and one for the apartment, but none for the intermediate door on the first landing (which was fourtnatley unlocked). This left me with concerns about getting locked out if the occupants of the first floor apartment were to lock it. Hosts not helpful in putting my mind at rest. Description stated that "The apartment features air-conditioning". In fact, it had an air-conditioner in one bedroom - the rest of the flat did not have aircon and was hot and stuffy. Again, host very unhelpful - did not seem to know the apartemnt very well. Single bed in second bedroom very uncomfortable - mattress sagged badly in the middle and gave no support to my back.

It was convenient to the village. Parking close by. We were there for the Bocelli concert at the Teatro of Silence and it was extremely close.

− The property was listed as a first floor loft. They did not disclose there were three flights of stairs and multiple steps inside the apartment as well. They listed AC and WiFi as amenities. There is AC only in one bedroom. It is not adequate. It was stiflingly hot when we arrived. WiFi is poor. The price was inflated at least triple of normal charges due to the concert week. She had the nerve to ask me to pay an additional amount per night for AC, in cash, left on the table along with the tax which was expected. No AC fee was disclosed. There was also no trash can in the kitchen or in the bathroom. I would never stay here again.

The location is great and the property is clean and well maintained. The host was very responsive to messages.

− Upon arrival there was no Wifi as advertised which was disappointing as we paid a very premium price to stay here during the Andrea Bocelli concert. The host did arrange to have a Wifi system delivered during our third day but the Wifi speeds were 10x slower than my own mobile phone which meant that the Wifi system was really not useable for my purposes. There is only one air conditioner unit for the property and it is located in the master bedroom. It was very hot when we arrived and it took about 12-24 hours before the entire unit was cooled. We have stayed in other places in Italy which were already set to a comfortable temperature upon our arrival and I would suggest that this host do the same when you have guests paying premium rates.
