Das Cottage Meraki liegt am Rande des Dorfes Ano Kalesia. In Heraklion steppt der Bär. Nur wenige KM außerhalb in Ano Kalesia geht es sehr, sehr ruhig zu. Genau das wollten wir. Das Cottage ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet (es fehlte nur ein Vorwerk Thermomix) ;-)) Parkplatz ist ditrekt an der Unterkunft. Bequeme Betten u.v.a. mehr. Auch der Außenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und gemütlich gestaltet. Liegen sowie Sitzgelegenheiten sogar mit zahlreichen Kissen sind vorhanden. Die Gastgeberin Wilma ist super freundlich. Sie gab uns mehrere Restaurant-Tipps. Insbesondere das Vyzantio Kafeneio in Kato Kalesia können wir wegen der sehr guten Küche und dem tollen Ausblick (ist von der Strasse aus nicht zu erahnen, man muss durch Kafeneio gehen) nur weiterempfehlen. Auch alle Mitarbeiter sind super nett.

− Das Bad ist schon klein. Dusche mit Duschvorhang, na ja. Es roch etwas unangenehm im Bad. Alles stöhnen auf hohem Niveau.

The appartement had everything you need to feel like home. It was very comfortable and clean. We were satisfied with the equipment of the kitchen and the entire apartment. The host was great. It was really nice. The terrace is a perfect place to have your breakfast and coffee in the morning in your own garden. The area was very quiet and pleasant. It is also close to the main attractions in Heraklion. Everything was fabulous! I really recommend this appartment. If I come once again, I will for sure stay there.

The homiest and tidiest place I've stayed at in Crete and probably at all. Beautiful, serene yard that makes you wish you could extend your stay. Wilma was super welcoming and the communication with the family was easy. Cute, friendly dogs too. It was the best decision to stay away from the hustle of the city before flying back. Thank you Wilma, Philip and Angelos!

− Nothing! Some sounds maybe coming from the boiler on the roof, but not anything distracting, it is all very quiet.

Cottage Meraki è una vera perla! Situato nella campagna Cretese a 20/25 minuti da Heraklion, è un punto strategico per chi volesse visitare le zone nord, sud ed est dell'isola. I proprietari, con i loro due cani Bowie e Dylan, ci hanno fatto trascorrere dei bellissimi giorni nella loro casa. Sono persone veramente cordiali e molto simpatiche. Grazie di tutto e ci rivedremo sicuramente.

− Nulla da dire, tutto perfetto...so che non sembra vero, ma è tutto vero!!! Poi è sempre una cosa soggettiva. Magari quello che piace a me, ad un'altra persona può non piacere.... l'importante però è che piaccia tanto a me! 🤣
