The property was absolutely beautiful, a wonderful example of ancient Chinese architecture as well as extremely safe, comfortable and welcoming! Julia was outstanding in the help provided (thank you Julia!) as was Jeff. All staff went the extra mile for us and we really appreciated all the little touches. We were delighted with all aspects of our stay. We loved Lijiang and cannot wait to come and visit this amazing accommodation on our next trip!

This was such a perfect stay that I don't even know how to get started! If I could list down the many good reasons why I'd recommend this place, here's why: Proactive arrival prep: The innkeeper, 小妞, added me on WeChat before the trip to advise on logistics and arrange luggage pickup from the ancient town’s taxi drop-off point. Proposal coordination: When I mentioned my plan to propose at the inn, she personally sourced and coordinated with a local wedding planner, taking a massive weight off my shoulders. Transport help: She gave great logistics advice for our day trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge and personally arranged reliable transportation for us. Warm welcome: We arrived to a lovely spread of local delicacies (rose tea, flower cakes, sweet potato chips etc) and were helped with all our heavy bags Great room and comfort: The room was spacious, spotless, and featured a huge bathtub and a very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast: Every morning featured a great spread of local food like mixian (rice noodles), prepared solely by a lovely auntie Food tips: 小妞 shared fantastic local dining recommendations that were absolute hits, and many offered a discount just by mentioning her inn Above & beyond service: On the day of the proposal, her husband even came down to help with the setup, genuinely invested in making sure everything went perfectly

This boutique hotel is located around the corner from the Mufu Palace...a excellent location in the Old Town. The room is large with a spacious and very comfortable bed, couch and sitting area. We also had access to a terrace. The bathroom facilities are great with a bidet toilet and super water pressure. In addition lovely toiletries are supplied. Towels are changed every day. Afternoon coffee or tea with typical rosepetal cookies are also provided. However wonderful the accommodations are, they pale by the attention and help Julia and Jeff provide for non- chinese guests. Julia helped organize our excursion to Jade Snow mountain and a car service to TLG and Shangrila. In addition, she personally took us to two excellent restaurants durring our stay. They also organized our luggage transfer to the hotel in Shangrila. Julia was available for any question or issue we had on Wechat.Their hospitality makes this place above a 10 point rating.

Ohh staying here made my whole Lijiang experience 10/10. Julia is such an exceptional host she helped me suggest places to go with locations. Also enjoyed the afternoon tea, and breakfast choices are good. The whole stuff is nice and very helpful. Cleanliness is top notch with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect. Don't worry about noisy around 10 pm. The old town itself gets quiet, and the Mingsu is so peaceful all the time. Julia also helped organize the transport from and to the airport, don't worry about luggage and old town roads.
