Great view, but distant location
7.0Very service-minded and friendly host. Air condition in bed rooms. Nice balcony with beautiful view (for far away stuff like Pisa and the surrounding mountains)
− Very distant location; we would not have booked this if we had studied the map more closely: you will spend a lot of time driving to and from the house on bad, curvy and steep roads. The last section of the road was particularly bad, with uneven gravel and lumps of concrete. The underside of our car scratched into the road several times. The general cleanliness of the house was not great, and there was not proper soap for washing the dishes (by hand: there is no dish washer). Someone is living on the ground floor/basement of the house, and it looked like a junkyard there, with broken down cars etc. Distant view was magnificent, but close view around the house was quite ugly.
All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay in the house.
9.0A lovely country house with a slightly rustic feel in a location with a beautiful view. The house lacked extra comforts, but the view made up for everything.
− The house is located in a somewhat difficult to access location and the smaller and higher the car, the better.
