8.0Lots of space. Good location. big kitchen, lots of plates / glasses / etc.
− A wooden spoon, chopping board (apart from the very heavy stone one) and collander would have been useful.
Good value with good amenities for the price. Needs some TLC.
7.0Had facilities we needed as we didn’t stay in the house much. Good price for the accommodation. Apart from damp, kitchen facilities good. Beds were comfortable.
− Needs TLC. Alot of the house shows wear and tear with a strong smell of damp in the kitchen. Shower cubicles in bathroom and main room showing age and need re decorating although showers provide a good flow of hot water. 4 adults staying but only 3 deck chairs in back yard area.
Lovely cottage
10.0We loved this cottage! It was very clean, spacious and well-designed. Especially liked the mining memorabilia and the small details around the house that represent the local history. The host Neil was responsive and nice, he had lots of useful information printed in the house to help us find our way around the area.
