10.0Sue and Pete were lovely hosts and we enjoyed meeting their dogs and sheep as well. We were given lots of local info and suggestions of places to visit during our stay.

10.0We spent two nights at the lodge and it was absolutely heaven on earth. Being so close to nature was pure bliss. We saw deer, mountain goats, and kangaroos right from our balcony. At one point, we were only a few feet away from baby mountain goats down by the river. We spent a full day out on the river directly in front of our room, gold panning and gold detecting. It was such a fun and unforgettable experience. Pete and Sue are lovely hosts — so welcoming, down to earth, and genuinely friendly. We’re already about to book our next trip only one day after returning home. Highly recommend staying here!! Thank you for such a wonderful weekend Sue & Pete 😃 Dani & Kara

10.0A sweet comfortable cottage hosted by a wonderful couple who facilitated for our children. The cottage is very well maintained and an extremely comfortable stay. We fed the sheep and at night roasted marshmallows by the fire. We will definitely be back for our next trip to Sofala.

10.0This was an excellent spot to access the Bathurst 1000 and although a bit of a drive, it was well worth it. Loved the sheep!
