A Hidden Gem by the River

I think it would be a shorter list to ask what I didn't like about this spot. The location was off the freeway quite a ways down through farmlands nestled in a very small historically rural town (with a population I later learned of under 300 people). No light polution so you can see ALL the stars at night and smell the Sacramento River which I learned was just down the street on a morning stroll (pictures included) The exterior of the motel has maintained its rustic charm, but has modern facilities inside as well as much more space than I had anticipated judging by thz small exterior (they have 5 rooms I believe). The air conditoning worked excellently and they had the best towels that were actually large enough for an adult sized human! The hotel itself is connected to a convenience store whiwh seemed to be one of the only stores in yown and for this reason offered much more than the typical convenience store. I would also like to mention this hotel was one lf the best values and most certainly worth the drive as it would add to the experience of anyone partaking in a road trip through California.

− I had booked a room with 2 beds via the Agoda app. I recieved a phone call from the property manager explaining that the room he had available had only one bed but that there was a couch that could be converted into a bed. They also to my surprise threw in another mattress to accomodate for the misunderstanding which more than made up for the misunderstanding and the situation was communicated by staff promptly which I do appreciate also.

Wonderful, courteous people are on their way. You will lack nothing; if there is anything you desire from them, simply ask. They will readily fulfill your request, for they hail from the great Yemeni people🙌🏼🫶🏼
