We enjoyed our stay at Naldehra House - It is a beautiful and well designed property, big rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with all around views of the Shivalik mountain ranges from the terrace, from the room balcony (second floor) and the common living room area. The sunsets are glorious here!! Its in a quiet area, in a small village called Jubar, a km after Naldehra - there is an apple orchard right next to it and a beautiful thickly wooded forest right behind it, I enjoyed my morning walks in this forest the most, there are hardly any people around, except for the local villagers. I woke up to birdsong, the mooing of cows and blissful serenity. Shimla felt overcrowded and suffocating after my stay here, honestly. Shubham, the caretaker took really good care, including setting up a bonfire on the terrace in the evening and organising a one day trip to Tatthapani, where I enjoyed a really good massage and a dip in the hot water springs in the resort there. There is a 200 metre walk down to the main road, where you can catch the local bus really cheap to go to Naldehra (one can take golf lessons there or take a lovely 500 rs horse ride to see the golf course) or Shimla and experience the expertise of the local bus drivers in negotiating the mountain turns. All together, a lovely place to stay, when you want peace, quiet and solitude in the midst of nature. The chef prepares simple homely breakfasts and dinner acc to your wishes. Theres a roadside restaurant on the main road, which does have really good food so one can also have meals there.

− Nothing that I didnt like, I would stay there happily for a month if i could, but pl keep in mind - Naldehra house is situated midway on a hill, you have to walk up like 200 mts on a small semi gravelly path to get there, there is currently no place for vehicles to drive up directly to the property, they have to be parked in the common parking area close to the road - so challenging access for senior citizens or those who are handicapped. There are not many restaurants in the vicinity, bar one so limited eating options. The rooms are on the first and second floor, with no lift, so again, quite a bit of stair climbing required.

Naldehra house is amazing! The mountain views are Great , especially during sunset. The food was delicious, a balcony to soak in the views. It’s the ideal spot for anyone looking to relax or enjoy nature. Highly recommend!

Stayed at Naldehra house and loved every moment! The sunsets were great and unforgettable, and the food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The staff were warm and welcoming, and my room was spotless with a balcony offering stunning views. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent Services by Mr Baldev (Caretaker), he even took us to a Trek without expecting anything. Excellent Property (New) Very Clean Good Food

− The only small thing is you have to walk for 200 meter (2 mins) but you should ignore this as there are many things which were exceptional
