I left Scuttlebutt feeling happy and restored.
10.0The home was as beautiful as the images. The floor appeared to be original and contained lots of personality in its wood. The high ceilings and rafters had modern updates that included focused lighting spotlights. There were plenty of ceiling fans throughout that added to the pleasantness. My biggest surprises came from all of the extras such as coffee pods, individual snacks in a bowl to welcome us, and shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in the bathrooms. These bonuses, plus the fact my friend and I had our own rooms and bathrooms, was clearly better than staying in a hotel. Also, it was only a fifteen minute walk to town.

9.0Very charming and well kept property. Two BR, two bath. Plenty of room. Not a B&B, so breakfast is on your own. Location was good but not practical to walk to downtown (only a short drive away). Easy lockbox instructions to receive key. Lots of fresh towels. Some treats in the kitchen. Friendly owner but no one on site.
− Nothing really. It’s an older property, but in good condition and very functional. Don’t expect modern upgrades or a large shower.
