Lovely family who made us feel welcome. Home made food too and a lovely location... Away from the new tourist resort of Valbone... In something much more authentic.

− It's a 20 mins taxi drive from Valbone. I suggest calling the family to see if they can pick you up for a small fee. Too far off the peaks of the balkans trail to really walk.

It had everything you need - from clean, organised rooms to delicious homemade food. The hosts were extremely kind, leaving us breakfast in the morning and answering any additional questions.

− Just be aware that it is about 10 km from Valbone, so if you're planning to do the hike, it will take a bit more time but totally worth it!

Ein Ort zum Entspannen mit wundervollem Bergpanorama.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Mountain Oasis. Die Familie ist unglaublich freundlich. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet. Für kalte Nächte gibt es einen Elektroheizer. Wer seine Wäsche waschen möchte, kann dies für 4€ selbstständig mit der Waschmaschine im Bad machen. Das Frühstück ist zwar einfach gehalten, aber alles frische hofeigene Produkte. Der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge schlägt alles. Auch wenn die Unterkunft einige Fahrminuten abseits des Valbonë-Zentrums liegt, kann ich es nur wärmstens empfehlen hier zu übernachten. Etwa einen Kilometer entfernt gibt es nettes kleines Restaurant, das ich ebenfalls wärmstens empfehlen kann.

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Oasis in Valbona. The owner is super kind and welcoming, and all the staff were very friendly. They prepared a delicious dinner and breakfast, which we really enjoyed. The place is cozy and flexible, and they always responded to our messages very quickly. The location is also perfect — just about 15 minutes from the start of the Valbona–Theth hiking trail. They even offered us a ride to the trail for only 10 euros, which was very convenient. Both my partner and I loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it!
