We stayed in Tamarind Villa for 6 weeks and got the perfect rest and relaxation we had hoped for
8.0We enjoyed the exceptional hospitality of our hosts, their openess, access, honesty and humanity gave us such a thrill. We couldcask for anything within reason and they would assist. They demonstrated perfect hospitality.
− Some of the facilities could be modernised and the open roof in one of the bathrooms was unusual for us.
Beautiful home to relax in
10.0We had an incredible stay at the Tamarind Villa! The house and the yard is absolutely beautiful with nature all around. We saw mango trees full of fruits and birds visiting the front yard every morning. The house was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bedroom had air conditioning which we really enjoyed during the warm weather. In addition to the beauty of the property, the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They shared homegrown king coconuts with us and treated us warmly. Excellent communication and extremely considerate. We give our highest recommendation to Tamarind Villa and we look forward to staying there the next time we are in Sri Lanka.

10.0We had such a lovely stay here. The place has a beautiful, calm vibe that made it really relaxing. I booked at the last minute, but they still arranged everything perfectly and gave me the best experience. Truly a beautiful place and I’d love to come back.
A Scam - Totally wasted time and money on transport.
1.0There is nothing to like, except the nice lady and the gentleman take care of the place.
− 😡 This is a scam.😡 I booked and paid for 4 people. I have attached all the details here as pics. After about an hour we checked in, this scam guy behind the property who runs the place remotely, demanded me to pay double even I have already paid 71 USD for 4 people telling I have only reserved for 2 people. Secondly, they charged the highest price possible against the USD I was charged 305LKR/USD based on highest rate showing online. When I contacted booking.con they mentioned it must be around 299-302 LKR per USD. Thirdly, There is no functioning bathtub or jacuzzi. The couple said it was broken since a month after the payment. Finnaly, as a summary - No privacy because there is no boundary wall. - You can’t have a party inside. - Even the garbage tractor comes to the property to take an U turn. - No security from backyard entrance - No fresh water running. (Water bottles provided) I talked to the booking.com and I got my money back and left the place. If you have already booked plz check above before the payment.
