No internet, terrible customer service
1.0The flat was very nice.
− I rented the apartment to be able to work during the holidays. When I arrived, the internet was down. As a tourist, this meant I couldn't even contact my family as my phone doesn't naturally work in Germany and I was completely stranded. I notified the host of the issue, they said Vodafone was down. This was incorrect, there was no Vodafone outage. I had to follow up to get answers. Turns out something was wrong with the router. If I hadn't had family in the area I would have lost almost a thousand dollars from missed work. As it was, I had to walk almost an hour each way, completely disrupt my parents' schedule and keep them up way past their bedtime, and ended up essentially not using the flat at all, other than rolling in after midnight and leaving first thing in the morning. Whilst this may not be true when you are at home in your own space, as a tourist (especially one who has to work) who roles up with nothing for entertainment other than a laptop, a flat without internet is essentially useless, and had I known that this was a possibility I would have gotten a studio or just staid at my parents. The internet was down for the entirety of my stay. Whilst I understand that it was harder for them to get it fixed in a timely manner during the holidays, if you give your customer a very faulty experience, it is your responsibility as a host to make it up somehow - whether that be sorting out an alternative for them, or giving somewhat of a refund. The flat is nice but the customer service and sense of responsibility is abysmal.
Tolle Wohnung in perfekter Lage
10.0Sehr schöne, charmant eingerichtete Wohlfühlwohnung in Toplage, perfekt ausgestattet, in sehr ruhiger Seitenstraße aber trotzdem super zentral gelegen. Unweit vom See u. Einkaufszentrum sowie Bahnhof. Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür.
